Nechama Goldman Barash

Rabbanit Nechama Goldman Barash teaches contemporary halakha and Talmud at Pardes, and is also faculty at Matan and Midreshet Torah V’Avodah. She holds a Masters in Talmud from Bar-Ilan University, and is a certified Yoetzet Halakha from Nishmat. Nechama’s book, Uncovered: Women’s Roles, Mitzvot and Sexuality in Jewish Law, explores questions of women and halakha in contemporary Jewish life.

Zvi Hirschfield

Rabbi Zvi Hirschfield teaches Talmud, Halakha and Jewish Thought at Pardes. He is also deeply involved in Pardes’s programs for Jewish educators, with a focus on tefillah in educational settings, modern Jewish thought, and Israel education. Before joining Pardes, Zvi served as Director of Judaica at the JCC of Cleveland and taught at the Cleveland College of Jewish Studies.

Sefi Kraut

Sefi Kraut is Director of Mahloket Matters at Pardes, coming from a career as a Jewish Studies day school teacher. Sefi co-created Mahloket Matters Teens, a curriculum that explores personal and societal challenges through Jewish text and social-emotional learning. She develops and leads fellowships and professional development programs for educators, rabbis, school administrators, and organizational leaders.

Jessica Minnen

Rabbi Jessica Minnen brings her passion for transformative Jewish learning to her position as Director of Faculty for Pardes North America. Jessica has taught widely for Jewish educational organizations including Hillel International, Birthright Israel and the Foundation for Jewish Camp. She was part of the founding team of OneTable, and now works with Momentum developing immersive learning experiences for women around the world.
