About Rabbi Dov Laimon
Rabbi Dov Laimon teaches Scribal Arts at Pardes. Born in Canada, he holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Saskatchewan and received rabbinic ordination through the yeshiva of the Bostoner Rebbe in Jerusalem. Dov has also studied chassidut with the Hornisteipler Rebbe for more than twenty-five years.
A sofer sta”m and teacher, Dov combines practical scribal training with the study of halakhic, midrashic, kabbalistic and chassidic sources. He has taught at Yakar and currently teaches at the Amudim seminary for women. In addition to his teaching, Dov administers the Pardes Scribal Arts Facebook Group and shares his own scribal artwork through Instagram.
