Mira Neshama Niculescu

Dr. Mira Neshama Niculescu teaches Jewish spirituality and meditation at Pardes. Born in Paris, she received her Doctorate in Sociology of Religion from the Ecole de Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales and is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and at the Center for Hebrew and Jewish Studies in Oxford. Mira is a certified Jewish Mindfulness Teacher and experiential Jewish educator, and currently studying as a rabbinic fellow at Beit Midrash Harel in Jerusalem.

Mira lectures internationally and teaches Torah and Jewish meditation at institutions in Israel, Europe, and the United States, including Or HaLev, Romemu, and the Institute for Jewish Spirituality. She also chairs the Clergy Council of Roots, an organization dedicated to peace building between Israelis and Palestinians.
