Rabbi Moshe Silver teaches Rambam at Pardes, with a focus on the relevance of Maimonides’ thought to contemporary life. Moshe was ordained by Rav Dan Channen of Yeshivat Chonen Da’as, and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School.

Alongside a career as a senior executive in an independent investment research firm, Moshe taught Torah in diverse venues and authored the Torah commentary The Weight of Gold. A founding member of the Drisha minyan in New York, he helped lead High Holiday services there for four decades. He also led High Holiday services in Jerusalem upon making aliyah with his wife in 2018, and in the years of COVID organized teams to blow shofar throughout the city.
