Construction at the future home of Pardes continues to advance on multiple fronts as the building begins transitioning from excavation and structural work toward infrastructure and interior preparation.

Underground Levels Taking Shape
Much of the most visible progress is happening on the deepest levels of the building, which will house parking, mechanical systems, and building infrastructure.
In the 5 parking underground levels, block walls are defining the various areas. Crews have begun installation of the sprinkler system, drainage lines, ventilation ducts, and electrical conduits for those floors.
Nearby, work continues on the water reservoir level (-5.5), which will store water for fire safety and building systems. Openings for major mechanical systems and utility connections are now being prepared.

On level -1, the outlines of both the swimming pool and the children’s pool are now clearly visible. These spaces will form part of the building’s planned gym and recreation facilities, offering an early glimpse of areas that will eventually support wellness and community life alongside the building’s educational spaces.
Mechanical Systems and Infrastructure
Throughout the underground levels, mechanical and electrical systems are beginning to take their permanent form.
New installations include:
- HVAC ventilation ducts
- Fire suppression sprinkler systems
- Rainwater drainage piping
- Electrical conduits and cable trays
Several major vertical elements are now clearly visible, including:
- elevator shafts
- stair cores
- structural columns that will support the upper levels of the building

Looking Ahead
As construction continues, we expect to see:
- additional concrete pours completing the underground floors and ramps
- continued installation of building infrastructure systems
- Within the month reaching street level
Each phase brings Pardes closer to opening the doors of Beit Karen, a permanent home for Torah learning and community in Jerusalem.
