Miketz: Alienation and Recognition

Introduction

Miketz is the lynchpin of the Joseph story where the Torah subtly depicts a new awakening on the part of Joseph’s brothers to the pain they inflicted on their brother and their father. Rabbi Israel traces this process and demonstrates the events that generate a turnaround in the family of Israel.
