Brother Fights Brother

Introduction

This podcast was recorded during the Winter Pardes Executive Learning Seminar, 2018.

Faculty: Alex Israel

Description: Sometimes war happens within the family, and in Biblical Israel, the tribes of Israel frequently found themselves embroiled in civil war. Eventually, the kingdom split into two for centuries! What caused our tribal friction? Is internal conflict inevitable, and is it necessarily a bad thing? Can it be healed? In this session, we will examine a range of sources from Tanakh and commentaries to Rav Kook and Rabbi Steinsaltz, as we search for answers to these questions.
