5775 — Vaera: The Name El Shaddai

Introduction

In this podcast, Rabbi Michael Hattin examines the divine name El-Shaddai and its special significance, especially in the narratives of the patriarchs and matriarchs. Our focus is on the allusive reading of the Ramban who detects in the name a much larger statement about the quality of God’s intervention in our lives.
