Ki Tisa: Getting Lost, Awareness and the Root of Sin

Introduction

In this podcast, through the teachings of the Piaseczner Rebbe, Rabbi Dr. James Jacobson-Maisels explores how the ways we act harmfully are rooted in our forgetting of who we are and the many distractions which cause us to lose our center, our connection to the divine, and our awareness of our own belovedness. The cure for our forgetfulness is awareness or genuine knowing (da’at) which is a kind of knowledge rooted in our body and hearts as well as our minds.
