Nitzavim: The Wood chopper and the Water Drawer: A Biblical Case of Inclusivity

Introduction

Who is standing before God to confirm the covenant between the Divine and the Jewish people? In this week’s Pardes from Jerusalem podcast, Rabbi Dr. Howard Markose discusses how the Torah chooses very creative terminology to let us know who is included.

Pardes is excited to share the new Pardes Companion to Yom Kippur. The Companion is a collection of articles by Pardes faculty members to help prepare and guide you through the highlights of the Yom Kippur rituals and prayer service. See www.elmad.pardes.org/ykcompanion.

Please let us know your comments and thoughts about the podcast, write to us at elmad@pardes.org.il.
