William Friedman

Rabbi Dr. William Friedman is a Faculty Associate Fellow for Pardes North America. He received rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Daniel Landes, holds an MA in Talmud and Rabbinics from the Jewish Theological Seminary, and is a doctoral candidate in Ancient Judaism at Harvard University.

With a passion for deep and accessible Jewish learning, William has studied and taught at institutions including Pardes, the Conservative Yeshiva, Yeshivat Chovevei Torah, the Jewish Theological Seminary, Academy for Jewish Religion, Hebrew College, and the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America. William is the Senior Educator of Base Lincoln Park in Chicago, where he lives with his spouse, Rabbi Sarah Mulhern, and their three children.
